  It has a beautiful view of the lake, but that was as nice as it got. The service was a bit slow in my opinion for having a more upscale environment. I ordered a black bean burger. The patty was dry and thin. I expected more from a $14 plate. My daughter's pepperoni pizza was delicious. I had a member of my party received food that was still frozen in the middle. With a restaurant as nice as this, I don't expect to have frozen food that's been heated once I ordered it.

  The food was great and so were the drinks, service was okay, the prices were a bit high even during happy hour, the views are fantastic and roasting s'mores on the firepit was neat.

  This was the second New Years Eve dinner we spent with West Shore, and while the ambiance was first rate, we were very disappointed with the dinner. The first course was a mushroom tart that was very doughy. The second course was a chicken noodle soup that was lukewarm and the celery was uncooked and it dominated the dish. The main course was good, beef Wellington, salmon, or duck, but the dessert was disappointing as well. I wasn't disappointed at last year's dinner, so I'm hoping next year's will be better!
